ThinkUKnow Presentation at PHC Library – Tuesday 18 July 2023

July 18, 2023 @ 6:30 pm

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS, CARERS AND TEACHERS

The Jewish Community Council WA will be hosting a ThinkUKnow presentation on Tuesday, 18 July 2023 at 6.30 pm in the PHC Library and all parents, carers and teachers are encouraged to attend.  ThinkUKnow Australia is an evidence-based education program delivered nationally to prevent online child sexual exploitation.  It is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about your children and their online environment and, importantly, how you can help them to be safe and responsible users of technology.

The presentation will be delivered by a local law enforcement member and an IT industry volunteer.  The presentation is pro-technology and addresses topics including self-generated child abuse material, online grooming, sexual extortion and, importantly, encourages help-seeking behaviour.

ThinkUKnow Australia is a partnership between the Australian Federal Police, Microsoft Australia, Datacom and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and is delivered in collaboration with policing partners Western Australia Police and Neighbourhood Watch Australasia.  The presentation will be held in the PHC Library and is a free event.  Please register at events.humanitix.com/think-u-know

For more information, you can visit www.thinkuknow.org.au or contact Geoff on 0418 922 033.
