Mitzvah Day – Temple David

Mitzvah Day is an important part of Temple David’s calendar over many years and we are again participating by catering breakfast for the families of seriously ill children in hospital.

Mitzvah Day was born out of the belief that we can all make a difference to our world by taking action together.  2026 sees Mitzvah Day Australia join forces with Stand Up who also share the goal of creating a better world.  Worldwide there are 41 countries participating, over 750 organisations, over 2000 projects and 55,000 volunteers.  One day brings people together to make a difference by doing good deeds to meet community needs.

This year we are volunteering on Sunday, 15 November and Sunday, 22 November to supply and cook breakfast for 60 people at Ronald McDonald House, Nedlands.
