Mitzvah Day – Chevra Kadisha

🌿 MITZVAH DAY BUSY BEE 🌿
Honouring Those Who Can No Longer Say Thank You

Perth Chevra Kadisha is calling on volunteers to join us for a special Mitzvah Day Busy Bee at Karrakatta Jewish Cemetery.

📅 Sunday 22 November 2026
🕘 Just before 9am
📍 Karrakatta Ohel
⏰ Approximately 2-3 hours

We’ll begin with a short dedication of the memorial plaques previously installed at Perth Hebrew Congregation, followed by clearing leaves, tidying the grounds and caring for the areas around the headstones.

🧤 Please bring gloves, rakes, buckets or cleaning cloths.

All ages welcome! Every helping hand makes a difference.

📱 To volunteer, call or text Sue Willner on 0431 349 973.

Let’s come together to honour those who came before us and show, through our actions, that they are not forgotten.

A small act of kindness. A beautiful mitzvah.
