Every Man for the Other: A Conversation with Oded Ronen -Tuesday 27 August, 7.30pm

August 27 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Tuesday 27 August, 7.30pm at a venue to be advised. Tickets are $15.00 (standard) and $10.00 (student), and registration is essential at https://events.humanitix.com/every-man-for-the-other-or-a-conversation-with-oded-ronen .

Fresh from sellout speaking events in Sydney and Melbourne, Oded Ronen is an Israeli political activist, international choreographer and film director, and one of the leaders of the Missing Persons Unit in the aftermath of October 7.

He aims to connect with Israeli/Jewish communities around Australia to give talks about civilian solidarity, which has played a very dominant role in Israel since October 7. ‘The optimism of the civil movement in Israel is rarely heard of in the news, and it could serve as a source of strength and a feeling of resilience for communities in Australia.’

Come and hear Oded speak about the civil movement in Israel, accompanied by photos and videos from the Missing Persons Unit, and watch his acclaimed short animation film about the Nova Festival ‘They Are Us’ and a segment from his dance work, followed by a Q&A session focusing on hope.
