Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP)
October 14 @ 6:30 pm - December 2 @ 8:00 pm
Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP) is a warm, research-based program grounded in the studies of attachment theory.
Adolescence is the second major developmental period for attachment: teens still need a secure base, they just need it delivered differently – more from a distance, with room for their own opinions, without it feeling like control.
Facilitated by Hadas Gavriel, Menora’s counsellor, member of the Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and a certified COSP facilitator.
Over 8 weekly sessions you’ll:
- build a shared language for what your teenager needs underneath the behaviour you see
- Learn practical ways to respond in challenging situations
- Get a better understanding of your own reactions alongside other parents at the same stage
Who it’s for: Parents and carers of teenagers (10-18)
When: Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm, 14 October to 2 December (8 sessions)
