Community October 7 Commemoration
An Evening of Remembrance, Reflection and Resilience
On 7 October we will remember, honour and mourn the lives lost on 7 October 2023 and stand with those whose lives have been forever changed.
The commemoration will feature:
- A Live Zoom from Israel – an Israeli mother will share the story of the tragic murder of her daughter by Hamas on the morning of 7 October 2023; and a special screening of the movie, AFTER NEVER AGAIN, a documentary exploring the experiences of Israeli trauma professionals in the aftermath of October 7, and the extraordinary work of supporting others while carrying their own experiences of trauma, loss and uncertainty.
- The film offers a deeply human perspective on what happens after unimaginable events, and the role that connection, community and shared responsibility can play in healing.
