DESCRIPTION:The Royal Commission Legal Assistance Service (RCLAS) provides free\, confidential and independent legal support to people who want to engage with the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.\nIn Perth\, RCLAS is operated by Legal Aid WA. We are an independent legal service that is separate from the Royal Commission. \nWe provide free and confidential legal advice about how you can:\n\nShare your experiences in a safe way\nKeep your engagement with the Royal Commission confidential\nOvercome barriers you might face in sharing your experiences.\n\nHow to get support:\nWe will be running a drop-in advice clinic on Wednesdays between 9am and 4pm. \nIf you have any questions or need assistance making a submission you are welcome to drop in and speak to a lawyer. \nIf you are not able to drop in at those times\, please get in touch on 9261 6389 (option 5)\, or email us at RCLAS@legalaid.wa.gov.au

DESCRIPTION:You’re Not Alone \nCommunity Support in Challenging Times \nThe events of October 7 and the ongoing war\, along with rising antisemitism\, have deeply impacted our Jewish community. Many people are carrying complex emotions: fear\, grief\, anger\, shock\, confusion\, and ongoing anxiety. \nFollowing the overwhelming response and success of our previous group\, we’re opening a new one. \nWe are offering a free\, professionally facilitated support group for Jewish community members who would like a safe\, respectful space to process these experiences together. \nWhat’s offered: \n• 6 structured support group sessions\n• A safe and confidential space to share\, listen\, and reflect\n• Emotional support\, grounding tools\, and connection with others who understand\n• Facilitated by experienced professionals \nWho is this for?\nJewish adults (18+) who are feeling emotionally affected by recent events and would benefit from community-based support.
